Quidgybopper AKA Jon Fleming took his name from the nonsensical ramblings of a childhood friend. Mixing elements of Electronica, IDM, Breakbeat, Ambient , Hip-Hop and D&B, Quidgyboppers sound is eclectic to say the least.

2011 has brought success for Quidgybopper with the release of his first EP entitled MK1 and has had a considerable amount of airplay on BBC Tees thanks to the BBC introducing program and local DJ Bob Fischer.

2011 also saw Quidgybopper becoming a part of Clear air turbulence which are an international audio visual collective that focus on collaboration. Quidgybopper has already collaborated on tracks with Bleepex, Mister Luke O’Hearn and Dub’n’Subs Sessions and done remixes for Th3-V0rt3x and Null White.

Quidgybopper is currently in pre-production of his first full length Quidgybopper album which is to be released in early 2012. The first single from his album ‘Close Call is now available to buy on iTunes.
